I was outside talking to Ben on the phone while I was letting Kyzer play for a while and he was walking across the driveway and tripped and fell face first on a rock. I ran over and picked him up and when he opened his mouth blood was gushing everywhere. When I finally got him cleaned up enough I pulled his top lip back and he had bit the skin off half his lip. It swelled up so fast, i could literally see it swelling! Poor little guy. He's a tough little trooper though, he was smiling for me while I was trying to get a picture of it. It's hard seeing him like this. :-[
This is the fourth time he's taken his diaper off today. He gets to hot so i just let him run around in his diaper, but he apparently thinks he needs to be completely naked. He came out wearing only this hat about 30 minutes ago, diaper in hand and all...crazy child!
More Blankets! I have really been enjoying making these blankets lately. i haven't done any in a couple months so i decided to get these ones finished that i bought fabric for probably over a month ago. The Pink/brown one is for Evelyn (Nic & Kate's baby, who will be here in July). The Hippo/Turtle one is just an extra right now.
Thats Right... I have water again!!! YAY! Our neighbours help us fix it today. it turned out to be an easy fix. THANK HEAVENS! 3 days without water really sucked tho. I can handle not having running water, no problem, but when you are supposed to have running water and your not equipped not too, it's 10 times harder than just not having the whole water system. Anyways, i'm happy to have water again! :-]
For the past few days I have been trying to work with Kyzer on his animal sounds. While I was talking to my mom yesturday morning on the phone Kyzer was laying on his side on the living room floor with his little cow car that he got for Easter. He was driving it around saying "Oink Oink Oink"..."Oink Oink Oink", and so i said to him, Kyzer Cows don't say Oink, they say Moo and so he looked at me and says "Moo?", and I said Yep. So for the next 10 minutes or so he walked around the house saying "moo, moo". It was SO cute!
Kyzer just came up to me with two books and said, " Bubba?" (yeah, thats what he calls me now), I said what baby?, and he said " you read this, Please?".
Plain as day, and ever so sweet! i can't believe how fast he's growing up.
Ben & I have been married for 6 wonderful years! We have two very handsome, wonderful little boys, Kyzer & Korben. Lets just say there is never a dull moment :) We are learning and growing together and enjoying life as it comes!
