Ultrasound #3

Well, last monday (12/13/10) we went to the Doctors again and everything looks really good! YAY! Although I am measuring a little small. But nothing to worry about for now anyways.
We also had another ultrasound to check-up on my placenta previa again.  It is still completely covering the cervix and will most likely not go anywhere. So it looks like we will be scheduling a c-section. So he should be here a little earlier than April 11th!  Everything looks great with the baby though and that makes it much easier to relax a little.
I have come to terms with having to have a c-section but, we do still worry about him trying to come early and it being an emergency c-section.  He is still breach which has me hoping that that means he will stay in a little longer than Kyzer did. (Kyzer was turned and ready to come out since our first doctors visit.)  So I am still restricked from doing very much and it's sooo hard for me to remember not to do stuff that I am not supposed to. The things I'm not supposed to be doing aren't hard for me at all but are too much for my situation. I catch myself doing things I shouldn't be all the time. So far it hasn't caused any problems but I do worry about it a lot.
So anyways, we are all doing good and ready for the Holidays!  We hope you all have a Very Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!

Update

I seem to be running out of things to put on our blog lately. I guess that means i need to take more pictures! Anyways, Things have been a little stressful lately. We found out in our first ultrasound that i had Low-line placenta, but it was still early enough they hoped it would move up. Well, it didn't. This has been really hard for me to take.  My biggest fear with having a baby my entire life has been that I might have to have a c-section and I am terrified about it, but it looks like that might be what is going to happen!  The placenta is completely covering my cervix and baby is breach so I feel all the kicks and everything down there and it scares me more and more every time I feel any movement at all! Given my history with Kyzer I am also scared that he will try to come early and then it would end up being and emergency c-section. For those of you who don't know, if the placenta tries to come out first the baby could easily die, and having to deal with something like that I am pretty sure I would just curl up in a ball and die myself.  The farther along you get in pregnancy the less likely it is to move up, but it could still happen. We are going in for another ultrasound in about a week and a half and we will see if we have had any progress then. It's been really hard because I can't hardly do anything, I have been restricted from a lot of things and it makes it very hard when you have a two year old in the house and you can't lift much at all and he weighs 31 pounds. It's been hard but we have been hoping and praying for better and just trying to deal with it. On top of all the baby stress, things have been going around that shouldn't be and have been very hurtful and so  I have pretty much just grounded myself to home. I don't want to go anywhere or do anything with anyone and it's probably not good for our health but I feel it's the best thing right now until people can grow-up. My brother is coming to town on monday and bringing his family and we are excited to see them and their new baby! Being able to hold her will lift our spirits up, I am sure!
We had some pretty insane weather lately! We got about a foot of new snow and then a couple days later it warmed up to about 35 degrees and started raining and kept it up for two days. The roads were Horrid! No one could go anywhere unless you had tire chains and only went 10 miles per hour TOPS. It was a solid sheet of black ice about a 1/4 of an inch thick and the rain was just running right down it like a little stream.  Our Dogs couldn't even walk on it without falling down. I wanted to take pictures but never got around to it. But you can probably imagine what it looked like. And now it has cooled down to about  -25 degrees, so it feels so cold with the new moister in the air. But we are keeping warm in our little home with our lovely wood burning stove!

Baby #2 first Ultrasound 10/18

We had our first Ultrasound yesterday! From the Ultrasound we learned that we are exactly 15 weeks, baby weighs 4oz. and is perfectly healthy! They also changed my due date from april 10th to the 11th, lol. Anyways, the placenta is a little low but it's not something that we have to worry about right now because its still early and it could still move in time. Thats what we are hoping for! I also have a little infection but we are not surprised because i had one the entire time i was pregnant with Kyzer. So, we are treating it with Anti-biotics for a week to see if it clears up. But, anyways everything with Baby is healthy and it's an active little one! We were able to get some really good pictures, and it was so fun to watch Ben's facial expressions as he saw all the different movements and such! We were able to watch the little heart beet and everything ( Ben REALLY thought that was cool)! So, here are the pictures of our little miracle!
Sorry they are a little small.
But look at those cute little fingers!

I LOVE this one! it's cute little legs are crossed at the ancles.

These are a little harder to see. little face still looks like an alien. heehee

Moose Hunting

We went moose hunting sep. 17th thru the 20th this fall and we had fun! Shaine, Katy, & Shaily met us up there and the boys hunted for 3 days while Katy & I stayed at camp with the kids. It was fun, BUT, every day the wind picked up more and more, making it more miserable to be out there. We all got wind burnt and cold and DIRTY! we were so dirty by the time we got home that i think i lost 10 pounds just from showering. Ben & Shaine spent everyday out on the hillsides scoping for moose, saw a few and went after them, lost them, and Finally they decided that they were going to go out the morning of the 20th and if they didn't get anything we would pack up and go home. Well, they Lucked out! They saw a HUGE Bull moose and decided that this was the only chance they had of getting one. So they Both shot at it. Ben hit it once in the neck and shaine hit it twice. the second hit being a gut shot and it took it down. So, Ben headed down the valley after it and shaine stayed up on the hill with the scope to direct ben to the moose. He found it... hahaha... but first he heard really deep and scary snorting, it was about 20 feet away from him and yes it was snorting at him and he was MAD! Ben says it was pretty scary! (He doesn't laugh at me now about the time i went caribou hunting and i was walking up to the caribou that was supposedly dead and about 20 feet away it popped up and tried getting up to come after me.)  So one last shot to the head and they had their moose. when they got to it they measured it and it was definitely bigger than they had ever gotten close to. 59 to 60 inches! BIG BOY! So ben started gutting it out and shaine came back to camp to get game bags and a few other things and told Katy and I to take down camp.  SO, we took down camp and spent the rest of the day sitting in the truck with the kids (because it was so windy) and scoping out the boys to see their progress. Come to find out they could NOT get the four-wheeler down to the moose because the brush was just way too thick. I can't remember how many hours it took them to just gut it and bone it out so they could get it in the game bags and then pack it to the trail so that they could get the four-wheeler to it, but it was SEVERAL hours. once they had it to the trail it took them four trips with the four-wheeler to get it all out, but that only took about half an hour. By the time they got it all loaded in the truck and ready to head home it had been 13 hours ( if i remember correctly). Thats with two guys and one four-wheeler. So they decided that if they ever get a moose that big again, they will need, 4 guys, 4 four-wheelers, and 4 chainsaws, just for one moose. They were beet and about ready to pass out by the time they got done. So anyways, yes it is a long story but, a pretty good one and one to be proud of for sure! There are very few Men left out there who would be willing to do that much work without more help and at least one more four-wheeler.  So heres to Ben & Shaine...Good Job Boys!

Eating for 1...or is it 2?

Kyzer is very excited!
