April 5th 2011

Devan, Corina, & Chloe came and stayed with us for about a week while we were waiting for Baby Korben to make his appearance . Kyzer had a blast with them, and they took great care of us while they were here.
Makin' some dinner.

LITTLE GAMER

Kyzer got ahold of Ben's XBOX 360 headset one day and it was just too cute to not take any pictures. He is such a little goofball and has so many facial expressions to share with me all the time. I love my new camera, it captures these little moments with my little family so well!

Kyzer's 1st Gun

Ben decided Kyzer needed a BBgun. Kyzer absolutely loves it! He does really good with it. He can't load the gun himself yet (which is a good thing), so here is how we do it. Ben cocks it, puts the safety on and hands it to Kyzer. Kyzer then takes the safety off, aims it, puts his finger on the trigger and shoots it. It's just too adorable to watch him shoot by himself! These are the pictures from the day he got it.

I shot it over there!!!

if you look close you can see his little thumb taking the safety off.

He has since shot a 22 and a 357...with Daddies help of course! Unfortunately I don't have pictures because I wasn't there.  Maybe I can snag them from my dad sometime.

Boat Cradle

I don't think I posted this before, so here it is! I love this cradle!  How it came about???  Well, about 7 years ago ( or more) my Dad decided he was going to start a new hobby. Thats right, making boats. He does an amazing job on them! The first one he made was his canoe. I loved it! And yes, he even makes the paddles himself too.  After making about 10 (not sure on the exact number) different kinds of boats, he decided he was going to start making little cradles in the form of the different boats he had made. One for each of his kids to use for all of their babies. Pretty neat huh? Well, my favorite boat is The Dorey (not sure how to spell it). A two person row boat that is shaped a lot like a canoe. I LOVE THIS THING! You can get going so fast in it and it just glides so smoothly threw the water.  So, it being my personal favorite, Dad made my cradle in the form of 'The Dorey' when I had Kyzer. We used it for a little while with Kyzer and now we get to use it for Korben.  He made it to hang on chains from the ceiling but for some reason we could not get our stud finder to work in our house and Ben didn't want to destroy the ceiling while trying to find them by just drilling. Sooo, Ben built a frame to hang it from.  It looks and works great! Thanks Daddy!

Sunny Days

This was one of our first really warm sunny days we had this year. Kyzer thoroughly enjoyed himself!
March 20th 2011

he was picking up all the little pieces of wood and throwing them into the snow bank.

My little Ham, oh how I Love Him!

He wanted me to take a picture of his rock he found.

He LOVES Shooter!

The Ham, standing on the trail next to our mounds of snow in the yard.

He's looking so grown up lately :(

I don't remember which day this was but it was the sanding of the first complete cover coat. what a mess!

Kyzer kept himself busy while daddy was sanding :)
