Baby's Blanket

I made Kyzer a blanket before he was born so I decided to keep up the tradition. Kyzer and I went to the fabric store to pick out some fabric for baby's blanket and this is what we picked out.

He was being grumpy about having his picture taken.

 Pretty cute huh?

Kyzer picked out the monkey fabric all on his own. I had shown him some that had little cars on it with hippo's and other animals riding around in the cars and he liked that one and then when I was trying to find a backing he spotted this one.  He pointed at it and said "that one, not this one, that one". After I handed it too him he wouldn't even look at the rest.  I would find one, hold it up, and say 'what about this one?'...his reply would be (without looking up from the one he was holding) " no, this one".  So, this one was it! I picked out the backing and edging.  We brought it home, washed it, and a couple days later whipped it out in about two hours. Kyzer was very proud of it, and I must say I am too!
