I have been trying to get Kyzer off the bottle for quite a while now, but that little bugger depends on the thing. He only has it at nap time and bedtime and has for a long time. I tried only letting him have it at bedtime to go to sleep with and cut out the nap time bottle and that seemed to work for about a week. then i tried only letting him have it right before nap time and bedtime and then he would lay down and go to sleep without it and that worked for about a week. Now nothing seems to be working. He will NOT take milk in a cup, so thats that helping either. Usually, if he doesn't quite fall asleep with one bottle I will let him have another half, but only if he asks for it. So now what I am trying is he only gets the one bottle and then he just has to go to sleep on his own, OH BOY HAS THAT BEEN FUN! Anyways, he didn't fall asleep with the one bottle the other day for nap time but I was NOT going to get him out this time! This is how i found him about and hour after i put him down for his nap. Finally asleep right on top his little bear that his Aunt Aulora got him when he was born. I guess he finally decided that the bear would just have to do.
Remember how Timmy was hooked on the bobby too. I finnally started slowing watering down his milk and then he finnally gave it up cause it was not doing anything for him any more. Maybe it will work for him too. It took him 3 months but he did it in the end and it was so much easyier than just cutting it cold turkey!
