So our nightly routine usually goes like this...
We have dinner, Kyzer has his bath and gets ready for bed, we try to read scriptures and say prayers(but lately that seems to hardly happen), I make Kyzer his bottle and he runs to his room and tries to climb into his bed, we put him in and hand him his bottle and when he's finished it he goes to sleep.
Well, yesterday I tried to put him down for a nap around his usual nap time but for some reason he was not tired AT ALL, so after being in his bed for 2 hours 50 minutes and still being extremely hyper, I got him out. we went outside and he ran and played with the dog for 3 hours, after about two hours his tiredness started to kick in, he was so tired and dirty after playing outside that i just put him strait in the tub. After his bath he had a little bowl of oatmeal and then i made him a bottle. When he saw that i had made him a bottle he turned around and ran strait to his room and sat down on the floor right in front of his bed and folded his arms for prayer.
It just blows my mind that he already knows we have prayer before bed, especially because we have been so busy lately that we hardly remember to ever do it before he goes to bed. The little guy is only 20 months and he already knows to have prayer before bed.
These are the things that make me feel like I am doing something good in raising my child right. He just melts my heart!
