November 1st

We never did get around to getting a pumpkin and carving it before Halloween this year, but we did go to the store on Halloween and the pumpkins were really cheap, so Ben and I decided we could get it and carve it the next day and let Kyzer enjoy it for a few days. So we did! Kyzer thought it was fun and it felt good to let him in on a project again.

At first he was a little grossed out by digging out the guts, but did it anyway...

 ...and after a while he didn't mind so much and was VERY proud of his work.

 It turned out pretty cute!
