Boat Cradle

I don't think I posted this before, so here it is! I love this cradle!  How it came about???  Well, about 7 years ago ( or more) my Dad decided he was going to start a new hobby. Thats right, making boats. He does an amazing job on them! The first one he made was his canoe. I loved it! And yes, he even makes the paddles himself too.  After making about 10 (not sure on the exact number) different kinds of boats, he decided he was going to start making little cradles in the form of the different boats he had made. One for each of his kids to use for all of their babies. Pretty neat huh? Well, my favorite boat is The Dorey (not sure how to spell it). A two person row boat that is shaped a lot like a canoe. I LOVE THIS THING! You can get going so fast in it and it just glides so smoothly threw the water.  So, it being my personal favorite, Dad made my cradle in the form of 'The Dorey' when I had Kyzer. We used it for a little while with Kyzer and now we get to use it for Korben.  He made it to hang on chains from the ceiling but for some reason we could not get our stud finder to work in our house and Ben didn't want to destroy the ceiling while trying to find them by just drilling. Sooo, Ben built a frame to hang it from.  It looks and works great! Thanks Daddy!
